Design Kist is an online textile and surface design studio creating original digital surface patterns, both in our studio and handpicked from a talented selection of SA designers. Our aim is to fill the world with original, beautiful and colourful patterns from South African surface pattern designers!  

We exist in the virtual world with our digital surface designs, as well as the "tangible" world where our digital patterns can be brought to life and ordered custom printed onto wallpapers and fabrics.   

DIGITAL PATTERNS

Our collection of both exclusive and non-exclusive copyright digital designs can be purchased and D.I.Y. printed onto surfaces like fabric, wallpaper, canvas, crockery, etc. Our clients include retailers, small/medium business owners, interior designers, stationers and private individuals, who apply our digital patterns to their own range of products.

Clients can purchase existing designs, or commission their own designs. Commissioned designs are viewed in a private online gallery, and can be downloaded directly off our website in a print ready format.

DESIGN KIST WALLPAPER AND FABRIC

For the end user, Design Kist patterns can be ordered ready-printed from our wallpaper and fabric gallery. Or, bring a previously unprinted digital pattern to life by ordering it custom printed onto wallpaper or fabric!
